Where a credential can be checked against the body that issued it, we check it there. That is deliberately kept distinct from a document review, which is weaker and isn't described as independent verification.
Yes — discoverability is a setting they turn on, and turning it off removes them from recruiter search. Nobody is listed without choosing to be.
No, and we'd rather say so plainly than show a badge we haven't earned. No auditor has been engaged yet. The controls that are in place — opt-in discoverability, company verification, row-level security, encrypted message storage, and audit logging with a defined retention period — are set out in the Security Statement, and we're glad to walk a security team through them.
