Kestrion Adds Video Calling and Document Sharing

Starting this week, every conversation on Kestrion supports a direct video call and file attachments, right from the message thread. It's a small interface addition with an outsized effect on how quickly a conversation moves from first message to first real interview.

Previously, moving to a video interview meant leaving Kestrion — swapping contact details, scheduling through a separate calendar tool, and joining on yet another platform. Every one of those steps is a place a promising conversation can stall or drop off entirely. Now, a recruiter can start a video call directly from a message thread with one click, and the candidate joins from the same screen, with no separate meeting link to track down.

Document sharing follows the same idea. Candidates can attach a resume, portfolio, or certification directly to a message, and recruiters can share an offer letter or role details the same way, without switching to email.

Both features are built on the same trust model as the rest of the platform: video calls and attachments are only available inside an established conversation, and first-contact messages still go through our standard authenticity screening before either side can share a file or start a call.
