Recruiter Code of Conduct
Last updated July 13, 2026 · Applies to all recruiter and company accounts
1. Represent genuine roles
Only reach out about positions that are real, currently open, and accurately described. Don’t use Kestrion to build a talent pipeline for a role that doesn’t yet exist, or to collect resumes with no intent to hire.
2. Keep verification current
Your company verification should reflect who you actually work for. If you change employers, you must re-verify under the new company before contacting candidates on its behalf.
3. Respect candidate privacy
- Only use candidate information for the hiring purpose it was shared for
- Don't share a candidate's profile, resume, or contact details outside your hiring team without their knowledge
- Honor a candidate's stated privacy settings and communication preferences
4. Comply with employment law
You are responsible for complying with the anti-discrimination, labor, and employment laws that apply in the jurisdictions where you hire. Kestrion’s own Anti-Discrimination Policy and Anti-Harassment Policy apply to all conduct on the platform.
5. Never charge candidates
Never request payment, equipment purchases, training fees, or financial account information from a candidate at any stage of hiring. This is treated as fraud and results in immediate account suspension.
Violations are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team and enforced under our Acceptable Use Policy.
